Kate Kuper offers creative dance and movement educational resources, professional development and mentoring for teachers (current and future), families and providers in all settings who work with preschool through 8th grade children.

The author of two instructional audio compact discs - Brain Bop and AlphaBeat - and three book/CD/DVD sets - Step On The Beat, Songs for Dancing, and Fantastic Forces - Kuper promotes accessible movement activities for use in classrooms, dance studios, day care, home-schools, and at home.

Kate is a Teaching Artist, working with children, from preschool through 8th grade. All her materials are kid-tested, and evolved from teaching to and creating with children over many years.

11-week session begins September 3, 2016
4-5 year olds meet from 9:00-9:45 a.m.; 6-7 and 8-10 from 10-11 a.m.
Reistration for our 8-week Spring 2016 sessions will open in December, 2015

Dance for People with Parkinson's Disease

I lead a bi-monthly dance class with colleague Laura Chiaramonte at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. Classes are held on a Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and a Friday morning, 10-11:30 a.m., each month. The classes are free and open to anyone over 50 with flexibility, balance and mobility issues. Watch a video of our program.
