Reprinted in 2010, the booklet is a downloadable pdf. I suggest printing it, putting the pages in page protectors and keeping it in a three-ring binder for easy access. Brain Bop
Based on developmental movement patterns that all humans move through in the first year of life, these warm ups are first and foremost a tool for improving or maintaining a healthy functioning brain and a healthy functioning body. Secondly, they are FUN!
The CD is 14 tracks for ages 2 - adult, featuring a 5-minute voice prompted version and 5 additional tracks for all ages of instrumental only, a hip hop version, two tracks for resting or mirroring activities, five tracks for ages 2 - 7 including 2 versions with original and traditional songs and rhymes - one without voice prompts - and a haunted house version! Liner notes explain a little bit about the developmental movement patterns.
Created with long-time collaborators Neal Robinson and Rocky Maffit, these compact discs and companion guides are excellent for home or school. Kate also conducts Teacher Workshops on how to get the most out of her material, and models many of the songs and activities in her student workshops and residencies.
