Kate’s family programs are “hands-on, bodies-on.” After a seated introduction, everyone is drawn into the action. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably for these lively and moving experiences.

Words Alive!
This program of poetry, rhythm, rhyme, and motion brings younger children (preschool–Grade 3) and their families together in a joyful exploration of language and movement. Ideal for Title I, Family Reading, TV Turn Off, Poetry Month, Library or Community Outreach.

Family Dance Party
A program of dances from many lands suitable for children ages Grade 3 and higher and families. Social Studies in motion! Ideal for Multicultural Programming, TV Turn Off, or Community Outreach.

Family Programs run 60 minutes in length and require the use of a large, open space, chairs for participants, and one to two display tables.
